Two Tiered Birthday/Retirement Cake

I made my first two tiered cake for my sisters birthday/retirement party. The top tier is yellow butter cake and the bottom tier is chocolate. It is iced with pink buttercream with white swirls. I needed a floral accent and used high quality silk flowers. Real flowers can be used, but with the time frame I had I couldn't.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.......I had fun making these beautiful snowflake cupcakes. It's a white cake with light blue buttercream icing. The snowflake was handed piped using white chocolate. It also has clear crystal sprinkles to give it a shimmer.
